POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Associate is tasked with working directly with the Inside Sales Team & the Field Sales Agents. This is a supporting role that will handle administrative internal process directly tied to Inside/Field sales activity. Responsibilities will include quoting, binding, handling forms compliance, telemarketing/generating leads & assisting the Sales Manager with the day-to-day operations within the sales channel.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Demonstrates superior phone skills & the ability to work well within a team.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of personal lines insurance products offered by the agency.
  • Comfortable utilizing technology (i.e. basic computer skills, use of automated dialers, Salesforce CRM)
  • Ability to generate quotes via EZ Lynx, navigate Salesforce & Hawksoft to maintain client records/policy applications, and assist the Sales Manager with sales metrics reporting.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage existing workloads.
  • Strong phone skills & the ability to build rapport quickly with prospective clients.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and within a team dynamic/group setting.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Insurance Skills and Qualifications:

Overall:  Client Relationships, People Skills, Product Knowledge, Organization, Dependability and Analytical Skills.

  • Must possess Personal Lines Licensing.
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
  • Superior Computer skills, Desk Top Rating Software, Microsoft productivity tools.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, carriers, and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines.
