Thanksgiving is upon us, and while you’re feasting on your favorite delicacies, do remember that you have less than a month to get ready for your Holiday party. So, we’re TRYING to back away from the dessert table and breaking out our thigh masters, all in an effort to fit perfectly into our form-fitting haute couture. I have rounded up some of my favorite stores that offer the perfect mix between glamourous outfits and reasonable prices. Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a kind dress or just need some basics, these places will not disappoint!
And if none of the big stores aren’t satisfying, try to find something closer to home. The best way to find unique pieces at affordable prices is treasure hunting through your neighborhood thrift stores or even dressing up something from the back of your closet.
Womenswear
JCPenney
Founded in 1902, the grandparent of the bunch has updated their style to include grandmillennial pieces to rival any of the younger retail stores. Should you like a milder more buttoned up look, check out this elegant ensemble:

Nordstrom Rack
If you’re more of a “high end on a low budget” type person, then look no further! You’ll find tons of quality Celebrity-inspired mark downs that may prove to be the right investment for your pennies. For your very own Met Gala red carpet look for less, see this getup:

Shein
Arguably the most popular women’s website on this list features super low priced gems you could pull off as designer knockoffs (until you can’t…)This may be fast fashion, but you’re wasting time if you haven’t ordered your faves yet. Liking what you see, well hurry on over for this garb:

Pretty Little Thing
So, if you’re not a PYT maybe you’re a PLT. I’d say that this website is the 2nd most popular womenswear store to make the list. So if you desire to look pretty and little, then buy a spanx and head on over for this accoutre:

Lulu’s
Looking for posh refinement with a dash of worldliness? Touting themselves as an “affordable luxury” brand, this brand of womenswear offers stylish opulence from the rolling hills of Northern California. If you want your outfit to scream air of sophistication, then mosey on over to see this beauty:

Menswear
Macy’s
If you’re a fan of the Macy’s Day Parade, then you know that you can float yourself to Macy’s and get the Black Friday deal of your dreams. This baby can be yours (if you’re big & tall or short &…) for the low, low price of $99.00. Run on over to snag yours today.

H&M
Debonair, suave, number one stunna…Are these the adjectives people use to describe you? Even though the “people” you think of are best described as grandma, mommy and the homie, it doesn’t mean you can’t attempt to look the part. Unfortunately this look comes in separate pieces, so get ready to pull out those dolla dolla bills yo!

Target
Now I know what you’re thinking, “this is where I buy my non-toxic cleaning products and mega rolls”, but no my friend, there’s so much more! Let me tell you what you should be thinking, “How can I jump into this ‘party in a vest’ evening apparel?” Stop taking yourself so seriously and live a little…at least for one night.

Kohl’s
As the 2nd grandpapi retail store to make the list founded in 1962, their style has risen from the ashes and rebirthed a new fresh modernized swag as if Jos A. Banks cross pollinated with Express. This particular suit is going for $99.00, has a whole host of clown colors and also comes with a matching tie! Sprint over to get your hands on this one.

K & G
This retailer is a prom season favorite amongst the high schools in and surrounding Houston. You can’t order a suit online, but you can go to the store, order a suit off the rack and get it custom tailored at the store all in the same day! If that isn’t customer service, then I don’t know Bo (For all the old heads, Bo (Jackson) Knows and for the newbies look it up).
