Texan Insurance Community Support
At Texan Insurance we believe our community and our agency are in a codependent relationship. That is why we make an effort to consistently give back to our community. We believe in helping our employees support the causes that are most dear to their hearts. That’s why we offer paid volunteer time to all our staff so that they can give back to the community projects that they choose.
One of our most popular volunteer partners is the Houston Food Bank. The Covid-19 pandemic has adversely affected the most vulnerable groups of our community. Houston Food Bank is doing a great job at helping out the people in need in our community. We are proud to say that the Texan Insurance team helped the Houston Food Bank to distribute over 195 million pounds of food and product from March through November 2021.
Texan Insurance also helped feed thousands of Houston families in need thanks to our customer referral program. For every referral our customers submit, they received a $10 gift card and the Houston Food Bank received a $10 donation. With this strategy, we aimed to achieve a healthy engagement of our clients and team members in giving back to our shared community.
Texan has also partnered with Keep Houston Beautiful to help plant hundreds of trees in and around the Houston area, as well as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to help race for the cure.
