We are seeking a dedicated professional who will answer phone calls, work directly with prospects and clients to maintain, and increase new and existing accounts by cultivating client relationships and meeting their insurance needs. You will be expected to assess insurance needs (all commercial risk exposures including general liability, property, worker’s comp, commercial auto, excess, and others) and recommend appropriate coverage to address the risks.
Responsibilities:
- Works with the commercial lines manager to maintain client’s insurance program
- Prepare and process endorsement requests to existing policies
- Document and complete changes within Agency Management System, in adherence to Agency policies and procedures
- Answers inbound calls; makes outbound calls for information as required
- Market renewal business and preparation of proposals for clients and renews policies in a timely fashion
- Prepare accord and insurance applications and works with underwriters on obtaining renewal quotes and endorsements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; and 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of desktop insurance rating software; Internet software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word software
