You will be responsible for delivering an amazing customer experience by being a champion for all of our clients needs. You will be working with our existing clients so no need to cold call to seek out new lead sources. You will use various customer service techniques and strong product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs to service our current clients, generate cross-sells, close inbound leads, and ask for referrals to grow our customer base. You’ll deepen your knowledge of the 40+ independent insurance carriers and products we offer to best assist our customers.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Compensation: Base salary of $45,000 to $50,000 plus monthly bonuses and incentives that can be earned for sales and quality service (generating positive reviews, making quality calls, hitting retention goals, cross-selling, etc). Total compensation including bonuses can range from $60,000 to $75,000.

Responsibilities:
- Serves as direct point of contact to handle client issues, concerns and provides appropriate solutions and alternatives to ensure “one call resolution”
- Maintains client retention by researching and resolving problems, reviewing accounts regularly with clients, and recommending coverage enhancements or modifications to better protect clients and their assets
- Generates cross sales, closes inbound leads and asks for referrals to grow agency’s client base
- Maintains and grows knowledge in all personal lines of insurance including but not limited to, home, auto, flood and umbrella insurance.
- Assesses client needs and reviews renewals annually, identifying coverage gaps to mitigate client’s risk exposure
- Responds to client inquires and requests related to insurance products promptly.

Education and Experience
- Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college
- Working knowledge of personal lines insurance, rates, markets and applicable insurance laws/regulation with at least 3 years experience in a licensed capacity
- Independent agency experience preferred in a multi-carrier capacity
Certificates and Licenses
- Active and valid Property and Casualty License Required
- Life and Health license preferred but not required
